The School

The School | Rhiannon's Performing Arts Rhiannon’s Performing Arts was born from the passion of the principal dance and vocal teacher Rhiannon Johnson to pass on the skills she had learned after training with some of Australia’s best vocal and dance teachers. Growing up in a regional area made her aware of how difficult it was for young people in the country to receive quality tuition in the performing arts. With this in mind Rhiannon’s Performing Arts was opened in May of 2002.Rhiannon’s prides itself in offering a professional service with the expertise that students would have once had to travel to Melbourne to receive. One of the main aims of the business is to prepare students for entrance into tertiary or advanced learning courses in the performing arts area.

In keeping with the commitment to supply a modern and up to date service teachers regularly update their skills and training in line with current trends.

Senior students of Rhiannon’s have been accepted into performing arts courses at Patrick Studios, Danceworld, Dance Factory, JMC Academy, NMIT, The Edge, Ballarat University and Goulburn Ovens Institute. Many past and present students regularly perform in venues throughout Melbourne.
